It's a big day for you. Moving day. You finally reached the point where you are able to upgrade apartments thanks to that new job. Throughout all the planning, you didn’t think much when you picked the Moon Moving Company to handle your move. Amongst the dozens of moving companies, it was just a good price that happened to be “All inclusive” so that the packing and unpacking would be taken care of. This was such an upgrade. You can only do so long of asking friends to help move and offering beer and pizza as a reward.
Now the day was here. When they first arrived, you didn’t think too much about the crew, although that one redheaded girl did stand out compared to the cartoonishly stereotypical moving employees. She was cute, but she seemed out of place. Throughout the morning, she kept glancing over at you. You couldn’t help but notice her. She was wearing black Nikes, jean shorts (It was August after all) and her t-shirt that was obviously too big twisted into a knot, with a hair elastic. There was just something about her… that kept drawing your attention. One of the other movers accidentally dropped a glass… but you didn’t care. She was all you could think about. After a while you walked by as she was packing your dining room chairs. “These chairs are so cute” She said. “I love that they’re transparent, its so fun!” “Oh…yeah they were a friend’s, but they’ve been good chairs” you answered back. As the move progressed, and transitioned to your new apartment, things finally started to take shape. Still all you could think about was that cute redhead. When the day came to a close, you were satisfied with the work, but sad to see her walk out that door, without even a goodbye.
“Oh well” you must have thought, she was probably taken anyways. After walking into the new kitchen, you noticed a large box was still just sitting there. “Ughh they must have forgot to unpack this one” As you opened the box, there sat the 4 transparent chairs, stacked neatly.
