Message: Wanna tell you about the anime I'm currently watching, "Insomniacs After School". It's brand new, just released this year. I wanted to share my impressions without giving away any spoilers. On the bright side, I really got hooked by the theme of insomnia and the idea of escaping from it. Plus, they delve into photography, which I found pretty cool. The characters are adorable, the landscapes are beautiful, and those romantic scenes made me squeal with delight. There are also these light, funny moments that just pull you out of real-life problems - all big pluses. As for the downsides... Some parts of the plot felt a bit predictable to me, true. Also, it seemed like people struggling with insomnia in real life go through way more than what's shown in the anime. Personally, I think real-life insomnia hits harder. But then again, maybe it wasn't necessary to dive so deep into the issue. For fans of comedy and romance genres - yeah, I'd recommend it.
