Last night was absolutely terrible 🫠
I’m severely sleep - deprived and feeling like crap.
I hope I’ll perk up throughout the day, gonna drink some coffee.
So, everyone remembers the story with the neighbor, right?

Well, last night there was noise again - people partying, laughing, talking loudly, playing music, and all of this was at 1:00 AM. I couldn’t take it anymore, so I called the cops. They arrived, and in my rage, I filed a complaint against the neighbors. We went upstairs with the cops, and a sleepy girl and her husband opened the door. They insisted it wasn’t them making noise, but I was so sure it was because the sound was clearly coming from above. In the end, the cops said they’d forward the complaint to the local officer and left. But the noise didn’t stop at all - if anything, it got even louder. I was completely shocked by how little they cared. Then, for some reason, I decided to check the neighbors downstairs. I pressed my ear to the floor, and holy crap—the noise was actually coming from their apartment!!! Can you believe it?! All this time, during this night and previous nights, it wasn’t the upstairs neighbors—it was the downstairs ones!!! 🫠😱
The downstairs apartment is also rented out by the same landlord I rent from, so I texted him saying this is unacceptable, that I have to work in the morning, and that they’re constantly making noise, etc.
I went downstairs and asked them to keep it down. A guy opened the door and said, “Yeah, okay,” but it didn’t get any better. They only quieted down around 8 AM. ((
Now I’m gonna drink some coffee and go apologize to the upstairs neighbors with a chocolate bar 🥺
The noise in the apartment resonates so much that it clearly sounded like it was coming from above.
