Even tho I woke up 45min late I still managed to get my gremlin to school on time, put some pork on the smoker (my oldests bday n she wanted pulled pork!), wrap bday presents and clean the fish tank...all off 2hrs n 45mins of sleep 😬
Hard to believe a lil over a year ago I was running around like a chicken with my head chopped off trying to smoke some brisket for memorial day with a baby that did NOT nap. Man, times have changed. Bittersweet seeing my youngest will be a 1yr old Saturday and my last one 🥲
I definitely don't miss those days, there was a lot of crying between my baby gremlin and me and it took me HOURS to prep my smoker and get it on, but I do remember carrying a 12lb brisket in one arm and newborn in another to put it on the smoker 😅😅💪
(Yes I snuck some cheeky feet in there 😅🤪)
