I was on the phone with T-Mobile this morning to review my account and the representative who picked up shared some personal information with me about her most recent relationship. She was heartbroken because the man she loved left her and married someone else. The only thing I could do was listen and provide her with words of encouragement in hopes she would feel better, and she did. At the end of the call she was full of so much gratitude, and we actually spent more time on the phone talking about her personal life then we did my account.
Moments like these truly warm my heart and remind me that being human is instantly rewarding and cost you nothing. Here is a clip from the end of our 20 minute conversation. This is a moment I will most likely never forget.
