The sun is the biggest, most powerful and most cost-effective option for lighting your shots. Position yourself next to a window and shoot roughly 30 - 120 degrees opposite the window to create highlights and shadows.
Every idea you want to bring to life will not require natural lighting, but this is a great way to experiment with what you have and go from there.
