This morning I awoke with a feeling of freshness I haven't felt in what feels like an eternity. Maybe it's the sudden change of the weather to long overdue sunshine, perhaps it's just my allocated period of depression was due to end, possibly while trimming my hair last night I accidentally killed the trans-dimensional brain worm on my head, but I rose up smiling and eager to make full use of the day.
Silly me.
Like a scene from a low budget horror film, the universe flung a fuck-you missile through time and space and knocked my ankle out from under me. One second I was standing still then there was a horrible sound like someone threw a sock full of ground meat and broken glass against a plastic bin and I was on the floor in horrible pain. I didn't even get out my front door :3
Tech boy took me to the hospital where I waited 4 hours to be told it was nothing and to fuck off and that was my day. I will never dare to feel positive about a day again, it's just setting myself up for disappointment.
