Message: I filmed this at the height of the heat wave here… Being able to cuddle with a block of ice was the only way to survive once I went to bed, even with two fans going… Praise be! This solid block of ice would be completely melted within about 3-1/2 hours when we were in the 90s. When it's 10 degrees cooler, by the time I wake up in the morning, there's still some unmelted ice inside. I'm preparing for our second heatwave..... But I'll take a heatwave any day compared to the hurricanes that are happening to my friends in Florida… So worried about them, and my heart always goes out first and foremost to all the innocent animals who are hurt or killed in these natural disasters. #prayforfloridasaniamlsandpeople xo #isleepwithicewhenitstoohot xo
