Message: ***H E A L T H U P D A T E*** I hope everyone's having a great start to the new month! Yesterday I went to my primary care physician after an entire year. I have this dry, incessant cough that I chalk up to my slight asthma and allergies. But over the last few weeks it got worse, and my chest hurt, and I finally worried enough to go see her. I was able to walk across the street to the x-ray facility and have my chest x-rayed (and I also had my knee xrayed since my 12 year old torn meniscus has been quite painful - painful enough to make me stop using my elliptical, which my doc was alarmed about), and I just received both of my x-ray results, and it's not good news, per the attached photo. I NEVER SMOKED. My knee is filled with arthritis ... and the x-ray comparison from a few years ago hasn't changed that much. I have a call in to my doctor to find out what the next steps are.
