Message: Took these pictures this morning and thought you guys might like them 👀 UPDATE/STORY TIME Back when I first started doing this line of work, I told my mom about it. I told her that I wasn't ready for other people of the family to know, and that I would tell them on my own time. She took it upon herself to tell my stepdad, and he treated me like garbage because of it, but that never really bothered me because he isn't a big part of my life. Fast forward to not too long ago, she asked if I wanted to do Thanksgiving at her house, and I told her I was going to my dad's because I don't even remember the last time I had Thanksgiving at his house. Apparently, that upset her, and she told my sister, who then told my dad (The equivalent of giving someone a big red button and telling them not to push it). When I confronted my mom about this, she kept bringing up my past, and said a cocktail of hurtful and manipulative things to me. It was like textbook gaslighting. So, that's why I've been "off" lately. But, starting today, I'm not going to allow that to take up space in my head or heart. What's done is done, what's important is that I'm happy, healthy, and safe with my life. P.s. my dad is handling it very well 😅
