Message: “In a racist society, it is not enough to be non-racist, we must be antiracist.” — Angela Davis Slutty Sunday is over. I’m frankly embarrassed that this wasn’t the first thing that came to mind when I woke up.I’ll fulfill everything tipped for, of course, but I cannot sit back and pretending that everything is okay. Silence is not apolitical. Silence and passivity is what allows racist and state sanctioned violence to continue. I’m privileged to have the means to donate to organizations in this capacity and would encourage everyone here to give within THEIR means as well and make their voice heard to local officials. Every dollar and every voice counts. If you send me proof of donation to any anti-racist organization, bailout fund, memorial fund, or a fundraiser to help a POC business impacted by protest, I will send you free content. If you’re unsure of where to start, below are just a few organizations doing incredible work amidst the deplorable violence going on in our communities. I will not be engaging in any arguments about this. This page is not neutral, I am not neutral and if you don’t feel that this is the page for you after reading this post you are welcome to unsubscribe.
