Pride is special to me because I'm a mostly closeted bisexual woman. I've never really come out of the closet and my girlfriends, along with most of my relationships, were always kept private. I was raised in a strict conservative home and just always figured what I did with my body was my business alone. Embracing that I am attracted to girls too was a HARD thing to accept because of my background, but realizing that loving myself was more important than honoring the religious restrictions that had been placed on me from birth. So yeah, I like men and I like women... that's just a part of being me!
