Message: Perhaps some of you would like to do a round trip through Scotland and need a few tips on hotels? After the ferry crossing to Dover, I had a short but wonderful stay in Windsor 🩷 and then travelled up towards Manchester. Here I stayed at the Shrigley Hall Hotel & Spa and had a room on the first floor with a fantastic view over the golf course.
The Shrigley Hall Hotel, just 15 miles south of Manchester city centre, is an impressive manor house in the green Cheshire countryside. The hotel dates back to 1825 and is set in 262 acres of spectacular countryside. It has its own 18-hole championship golf course, full health club, spa with pool and AA rosette cuisine. Incidentally, the building also used to serve as a school before it was converted into a hotel in 1989. Kisses 😘
