The white castle Dunrobin Castle with its many small turrets, oriels and windows sits enthroned above a large garden. Behind it: Nothing but the vast sea. 🩷 Around 1850, the palace was remodelled and the lush garden was laid out - inspired by those at Versailles in France. Although some new plants have been introduced since then, the basic shape has remained the same: Everything is grouped around two circular areas, each with a bubbling fountain. The garden ends at a wall with an iron gate. If you go through it, you get directly to the sea.
I also visited "Hector" (desert buzzard) and "Charly" (falcon). What beautiful animals. You really got something here. 🤩 Kisses
