I found out because I went to a physical therapist for my surgery rehab and it was identified during the full body checkup. I have a very high pain tolerance and thought everyone had some pain (it started in my late teens and I thought this is what it feels like to be an adult 😅🤣) and previously didn’t have a lot of time to get myself checked out. The physical therapist instructed lifestyle changes such as improved ergonomic work space (atm I work on a laptop on a sofa lol) as well as treatment.
